Artist Live/Work Spaces at Western Avenue Lofts
Fifty new artist live/work spaces at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell opened in June of 2012: Western Avenue Lofts.
Western Avenue Lofts in Lowell was built with a variety of floor plans and offers many different options. The building has a layout of columns and windows that allows for wide-open spaces, tremendous light, and a range of unit sizes. Lofts tenants are able, and encouraged, to personalize their spaces. If anything is built in, it must follow code and the tenant must be prepared to remove it if and when they leave, but otherwise freedom and creativity are the rule. Tenants are encouraged to personalize common hallway walls outside their lofts with paint and visuals to showcase their art. In January 2013 there are only a few Lofts still available.
Studios at Building #9 in Lawrence
Situated along the banks of the Merrimack River in a fully renovated historic mill, Studios at Building #9 has newly renovated artist work spaces now available for lease. (See images.)
Appleton Mills Live/Work Rentals in Lowell

The Lofts at Westinghouse - Hyde Park
UPDATE - Temporary price reductions at The Lofts at Westinghouse
One Westinghouse Plaza, a classic mill building in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood that we've previously featured on ArtistLink, have announced aggressive, temporary price reductions designed to sell the initial group of live/work spaces as quickly as possible. The second floor flats that were $235,000 are now $175,000. Third floor flats were $259,000, and are now $219,000. The two-level lofts have gone from $279,000 to $229,000 and the corner flats from $350,000 to $249,000.
Gorse Mill Studios - Needham, MA
