Porter Mill, located in downtown Beverly MA, is the North Shore's newest artist studio building. This 1895 mill building now houses twenty-two beautifully lit artist studios ready to be occupied on May 1st, 2011. Exhibition space and access to a printmaking facility will also be available to artists. Additional programming available to all artists and the community include biannual open studio events, gallery exhibitions, film screenings, artist talks, poetry readings, group critiques and more. Located a two minute walk from the Newburyport/Rockport Commuter rail, fifteen minute walk to Montserrat College of Art and their three galleries, and a twenty minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean. Easily accessible from Route 128.
