Artist home buyers: 

So, you have determined that you are interested in buying property to live and/or work in. It will help tremendously if you prepare in advance for your purchase. It will eliminate some of the frustration and confusion. Your steps should include:

• Preparing for purchase
• Get Pre-Approved for a Mortgage
• Find A Property You Can Afford

Once you have found a property that you are interested in you will:

• Have the Property Inspected
• Complete an Offer to Purchase/P&S
• Seek Legal Council
• Complete Your Mortgage Application
• Conduct Pre-Closing Activities
• Complete the Purchasing Process
