Affordable Housing

We all want space that is livable and affordable within our means. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to build affordable space without help with government funding.  As these funds are limited, the amount of affordable housing is limited. Hence, many affordable housing opportunities come up through a lotteried process.

Afforable Housing For Artists In Boston

Boston is the only city in the State which has an affordable housing program for artists specifically. Click here to find out more about the program.

Other Affordable Artist Housing

We all have our own definition of what is affordable to us.  Several other artist projects in the state are 'affordable' because of the way they were developed.  Please visit our section on Finding Space and search for artist live/work space in artspacefinder to find these projects.  You may also contact us to discuss your personal needs both spatially and financially.

General Affordable Housing Opportunities

Not every artist specifically needs a live/work space to live in as a primary residence.  Hence you might be available for other affordable housing lotteries or financial assistance.  Please visit these sections to find out more.
